“Grow and Save Trees for Survival”

Introduction
NGC Namgyal Green Club is a voluntary club and its main objective is to help our students in maintaining a clean and a healthy environment. The club members are ready to step forward in any matters related to the improvement and preservation of the school environment.  At present, the club members are functioning very well under the guidance of Ven. Tenzin Nyima (a Tibetan teacher ) and Mrs. Chime Dolkar (a staff).

During the previous years, our club consisted of 72 members but this batch we have 110 members. The main responsibility of the club members is to make our school free from filth and to provide a cleaner environment. The club members clean the school compound as well as the outskirts of the school.

Source of Club fund
The club collects different things like – used papers and empty bottles and sell them to raise fund. The club also raise fund from donations and subscription fees contributed by the members. From this fund, we buy different equipments for cleaning, help the students who suffer from extreme disease, put boards and signs of useful quotations.

Introduction

Namgyal Student Council is mainly meant for the welfare of the students of this school. The council also helps to develop the feeling of oneness among the staffs and the students of this school and thus make us feel as if we are in a big family. With this motive in our mind we serve as an intermidiary among the students, the teachers, and the school administration.
This Student Council consists of the representatives elected from among the senior class students. It has 15 to 27 working members and from these members five are elected as the Office Bearers. The election and the appoinment are done freely and fairly by the students themselves in the beginning of every academic session. The school Director is the adviser to the Council.

Aims and Objectives:

  • To help the weak and dull students in uplifting their mental and physical standard by organising various constructive programmes.
  • To encourage the students to take part in different literary and physical competitions held in the school.

    To help create peaceful and healthy environment within the school compound.
  • Giving help and care to the sick students.
  • Getting ready to contribute any help to any student if possible.

Source of Club fund
The Council raises fund from some sources like:

  • Donation.
    Organising programmes like :Tambala, song dedication, mini-fete etc, during special occasions and celebrations.
    Selling used books and used newspapers for re-cycle.
    Subscription fees contributed by the passive members.
